The pricing for the 2024 Chevrolet Traverse has been released, and it shows a significant increase compared to previous models. The midsize SUV now comes with a higher price tag.
The base LS model has a base cost of $39,495, which is approximately $3,500 higher than the previous version. This updated model provides customers with many additional features, including a stronger turbocharged four-cylinder motor that produces 315 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque.
Additional features include a more spacious cabin with a 17.7-inch monitor and an 11-inch digital instrument cluster, which comes standard on all versions. The entry-level LS model also has the ability to accommodate up to eight passengers. However, if you desire a few extra gadgets, upgrading to the LT trim for $41,395 is necessary. This top-of-the-line trim includes all the amenities one could desire, such as power-adjustable front seats, a power tailgate and a wireless charging station.
Furthermore, the LT model boasts a premium leather-wrapped steering wheel and unique captain’s chairs for the second row. For those who frequently transport seven passengers, there is an option to equip an eight-seater configuration. Additional upgrades available are a breathtaking panoramic sunroof and cutting-edge Super Cruise technology.
If your wallet is feeling a bit heavy, there are options to splurge on higher-end versions of the Traverse. The daring Z71 variant comes at a price of $47,795. It boasts distinctive design elements, 18-inch wheels equipped with all-terrain tires, and a suspension lift of one inch. Furthermore, the Z71 boasts specialized dampers and hydraulic rebound for improved performance.
At the pinnacle of the lineup sits the RS edition, with a price tag of $55,595. Representing the most high-performing option, this model boasts a sport-tuned suspension, sleek 22-inch wheels in a black finish, and dark exterior detailing.
If these costs are a bit concerning, it’s important to note that Chevrolet will still make available the older version of Traverse in addition to the new model. This particular variant will be referred to as the Traverse Limited and will only be on the market temporarily until Chevy can increase production of the most recent generation.
It is yet to be determined if buyers will be open to spending more for these enhancements; there are also other top-notch options available in this category such as the Hyundai Palisade, Kia Telluride, and Toyota Highlander.
