Flawless SVT Cobra Mustang Three Times Costlier Than S650 GT Variant

Practically New: 34.2 Mileage Fox Body Mustang Up for Sale!

A high-end automobile retailer in Cleveland is currently offering a 1993 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra that boasts only 34 miles on the odometer. No, this is not a mistake. In its 31 years of existence, this coveted Fox Body Mustang has only been driven for thirty-four miles.

Listed for purchase by Marshall Goldman, this remarkable specimen is sure to capture the attention of collectors – that is, if they’re willing to swallow the hefty price tag. At a steep $145,000, this SVT Cobra commands a price three times higher than a brand-new Mustang GT and even commands a few thousand dollars more than some may argue is more desirable, such as the Mercedes-AMG SL 55. Is it justifiable? Ultimately, that decision rests with you.

Coated in Black Clearcoat, the 1993 SVT Cobra boasts a set of 17-inch seven-spoke alloy wheels that perfectly complement the car’s appearance. Understated Cobra emblems on the front fender, a spoiler on the rear decklid, and a sleek front bumper add to the Mustang’s athletic character. In contrast to modern muscle cars, it exudes a subtle and unassuming vibe.

Beneath its exterior, a 5.0-liter V8 engine without forced induction generates an output of 235 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. At the time of release, this translated to a rapid acceleration from 0-60 mph in approximately 6.2 seconds. Nowadays, a Mustang equipped with EcoBoost technology can effortlessly exceed the performance of the legendary V8 Cobra. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.

After a period of being stored, there is a high likelihood that the 5.0-liter V8 engine will need some attention. The seller mentions that a new battery has been installed, however, it may also need fresh fluids and maintenance before it can be driven again. However, it is unlikely that this SVT Cobra will ever touch pavement – a car in such pristine condition is meant for a collection or museum.

The Mustang appears as though it rolled off the lot just yesterday. The seats are a pristine Opal Grey leather, still encased in their original plastic covers, while the floor mats retain their protective wrapping.

Not a single indication of usage can be found; the fascia and buttons maintain a pristine appearance as if they just came out of the factory. The mileage of 34.2 miles can be easily seen on the odometer, which is conveniently positioned on the steering wheel equipped with an airbag. Despite never being taken for a ride, the previous owner took extra measures in choosing the Cobra model with the Equipment Package 250A, along with added features such as air-conditioning, a top-of-the-line audio system, and a partially adjustable driver’s seat.

The price of $145,000 may seem steep, but this notable purchase would be a great addition for any collector or museum. It would be wise for Ford to secure it for their heritage fleet. Not long ago, a similar Cobra R was auctioned off for a staggering $132,000, indicating that there is a strong possibility that this SVT Cobra will also attract a buyer willing to pay the full amount.

If the cost is exorbitant but you have a yearning for a vintage powerhouse vehicle with incredibly low mileage, there’s an opportunity for you to compete in the bidding for a Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z with only 440 miles on the odometer. As of now, the leading offer stands at $52,000, yet that sum could see a significant increase by the end of the auction.
