1000HP HypercarPotenzas & Blizzaks
Constructing the 1,001 horsepower Revuelto propelled Lamborghini to generate an entirely unique segment among its lineup – the High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV). This required the designers of Sant’Agata Bolognese to ignore any existing tire options and create something tailor-made for the Revuelto’s performance profile. As a result, the Italian carmaker went back to Bridgestone to find an appropriate solution.
The outcome of these configurations is two clearly distinct options, beginning with a dedicated series of Bridgestone Potenza Sports tyres coming in at an imposing 355/25-ZRF22 on the back. For comparison, this size of tyre is seen on cars like the Bugatti Chiron and the Aventador, Lamborghini’s preceding model to the Revuelto, both famously installed with some of the broadest factory fitment tyres. Those are the wheels included when you upgrade your package, with 21 inch rims on the front and 22s at the rear. The standard sized tyres remain large however, with 345/30-ZR21s in the back and 265/35 Bridgestone Potenzas up front.
While investing in a specific, high-power summer tire for a new supercar is pretty usual, Bridgestone has also created a special type of its renowned Blizzak snow tires for those keen to take pleasure in all-weather adventure in their Revuelto. These are available as an optional upgrade, with the Blizzak LM005 tires having the same width as the stock Potenza Sports (345 mm). That’s correct, you can get from them a Lamborghini outfitted with snow tires that wide… instantly.
Bridgestone stated that the tyres were constructed and manufactured in Italy, making use of both virtual and real-life tests to fulfil the expectation that Lamborghini had. From an AWD powertrain that integrates a brand new V12 motor and three electric motors, the selection of tyres is critical in order to take full benefit from the power production.
Recently, Bridgestone was given an extraordinary job of fabricating a special type of high-performance supercar tire with off-road capacity which consequently produced the Dueler AT002 tires fitted onto the Huracan Sterrato.
“We are extremely delighted to be collaborating with Bridgestone as our exclusive tire partner once again,” stated Lamborghini Marketing Director Cristian Mastro. “This partnership for the new Revuelto is a further testament to our strong bond with Bridgestone on our supercars, which has been exemplified by the custom-engineered Bridgestone tires developed for the Huracán STO, EVO, Tecnica, and Sterrato models.”
