Manhart unleashes more aggression in BMW M’s Sport Activity Vehicles.
Manhart has recently unveiled a fresh carbon fiber customization package for the latest BMW X5 M and X6 M models. This upgrade adds a fiercer appearance to these SUVs, complementing their enhanced power and performance. The renowned tuning company, Manhart, has just introduced a brand new carbon fiber styling kit for the latest iterations of the BMW X5 M and X6 M. These additions give the SUVs a more aggressive aesthetic to perfectly match their increased muscle and capabilities.
Although certain elements utilized on previous versions remain consistent, the German customizer has had to innovate a fresh front spoiler, bumper inlays, tweaks to the rear bumper, and fender accessories for pre-facelift models. In terms of appearance, both the X5 M and X6 M receive a bolder hood design, boasting striking bulges that allude to the considerable strength beneath the surface. The bumper closely resembles the factory component, yet it has been upgraded with discreet carbon highlights in strategic areas.
The sleek side skirts give the impression of reduced suspension, enhancing the sporty appearance. On the back of each model, there are dual spoilers (one on the rooftop and another on the trunk) along with fender and rear bumper add-ons.
Carbon fiber is a remarkable material that not only adds to the aesthetic appeal, but also enhances the aerodynamics and reduces the overall weight. However, specific measurements of these enhancements have not been disclosed. Customers are offered a choice between the classic woven design or a bolder forged carbon finish.
Installing the latest enhancements should be a simple task. Purchasers have the option to attach them using adhesive or screws onto their BMW vehicles. We would recommend the former option to avoid causing any permanent damage.
Manhart offers its customers the option to purchase individual add-on parts rather than a complete kit. While we do not necessarily endorse this, it is possible to combine forged and woven carbon fiber for a one-of-a-kind appearance (albeit an unconventional one).
The X6 M Competition’s forged carbon side skirts come at a cost of €3,470 (around $3,780). If you’re looking to upgrade your car’s appearance, consider the carbon fiber trunk lid, which ranges in price from $1,800 to $1,850. There are also other options available, such as a carbon roof spoiler priced at $1,630 to $1,780, forged carbon wheel arches at $8,080, a two-piece rear bumper insert for $2,150, and a sleek carbon hood featuring GTR vents at a price of $6,940. For car enthusiasts who want to enhance their ride, these carbon accessories are a must-have. The forged carbon side skirts not only add a touch of style, but also improve functionality. Likewise, the carbon fiber trunk lid adds a unique look while reducing overall weight and improving performance. In addition to these exterior upgrades, there are other carbon accessories available for the X6 M Competition. For the X5 M Competition, customers have the option to select from a wide variety of add-ons, including a carbon rear diffuser with prices ranging from $3,670 to $3,830, a single-piece carbon trunk spoiler priced at $1,260 to $1,390, a carbon rear diffuser for $1,600, and a set of dual-piece carbon side blades for $710. In 2023, BMW unveiled the refreshed X5 M and X6 M models, equipped with the brand new S68 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. This upgraded motor now comes with mild-hybrid technology, resulting in a higher output of 617 horsepower and 552 pound-feet of torque as the standard setting. As a result, this dynamic duo of performance vehicles has been taken to new heights.
In addition to all of that, Manhart has the ability to enhance the engine’s performance, resulting in an output of more than 800 horsepower.
