Mansory takes on US Competition.
Regardless of how you feel about it, DarwinPRO Aerodynamics has taken their already boisterous body kit to the next level for the Toyota GR Supra. Their new BKSSII package amplifies the Japanese sports car’s styling with all its unique parts that exude an even more crazy vibe. A firm in the United States renowned for their eye-catching body kits, their most recent one for the Supra is certainly no different.
This carbon fiber kit wearables contain a hood, front lip, side skirts, rear diffuser featuring a tail light set-up, spoiler, fenders, and front bumper canards. As part of this package, you’ll also be supplied with door attachments to tie in the rear diffuser.
The demo vehicle features a set of ten-spoke alloy wheels, which gives a glimpse of the brake rotors underneath, and displays striking red brake calipers. This more muted addition further amplifies the vehicle’s exuberant character. Additionally, the license plate of the demo unit is a subtle nod to the MkV Supra’s Bavarian heritage– an enjoyable bonus surprise.
DarwinPRO Aerodynamics have not made any modifications to the interior of the Supra. The BMW-sourced B58 inline-six engine is also untouched, and thus its contents will remain unaltered both within the hood and within the car itself.
DarwinPRO’s visually striking design may not be for everyone, but the company insists that it was “meticulously designed for a stunning visual upgrade.” Judging by the comments section of their latest Instagram post, it appears to have been well-received.
The overall cost of the kit is yet to be disclosed, however a look at the tuner’s website reveals it could set you back in the region of $8,700-10,000 before taxes and shipping are taken into account. This is calculated from the components available on the site. Depending on the chosen body kit specification, it may amount to a similar sum as the Audi RS Avant body kit offered by the same tuner, with an amount over $14,000.
