Hyundai has recently launched the Ioniq 5 Disney100 Platinum Edition for sale, which is the finalized version of the concept car that first appeared at the New York International Auto Show in 2019. The electric crossover with a Disney twist boasts unique features such as the 20-inch alloy wheels (complete with a discreet Mickey Mouse design), Disney100 badges adorning the front fenders, and black H logos on both the hood and liftgate. It is also available in the exclusive Gravity Gold Matte exterior paint, which adds an additional $1,000 to the cost of a standard Ioniq 5.
The special edition Ioniq 5 Disney100 Platinum boasts a unique combination of terra brown and mud gray for its interior color scheme. Hyundai has once again joined forces with Disney, continuing their partnership from previous collaborations. Back in 2021, the Korean company used popular Marvel characters to promote their Tucson model. Additionally, they released a crossover in China last year that was named Mufasa. It is uncertain if this use of the name from Disney’s The Lion King was an officially sanctioned collaboration between the two companies.
