CEO of Dodge Intervenes to Set Things Right.
A dealership situated in Mississippi recently demonstrated an appalling act of betrayal to a soldier who purchased a Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170; while he was away, serving his country internationally, they sold the vehicle to another customer. Fortunately though, the Chief Executive Officer of Dodge, Tim Kuniskis, rectified this situation and took steps to amend it.
The tale revolves around a Mac Haik dealership franchise located in Flowood, Mississippi. The veteran purchased the car for an extraordinary price of $50,000 and was expecting his family to pick it up since he could not make it back.
Rumoredly, this F8 Green Demon 170 was dispersed to another patron for an unannounced figure, yet at a considerably greater mark-up. Dodge has terminated the fabrication of the Challenger, and procuring one in any particular shade and requirement is nearly hopeless. Gratefully, this anecdote got through to the proper ears and eyes.
All told, we estimate the dealership duped the service member twice. Firstly, a monstrous price-mark up; secondly, the sale of a Demon 170 that was specifically intended for him.

The production of the Dodge Challenger has sadly already come to an end, making it impossible for the man in the story to acquire a new one. The customer who had purchased the Demon 170 originally offered to return it to the dealership, however, the vehicle is now deemed as a used car with a few miles logged on it. Generosity was high from other individuals, with some offering their own allocations or orders of the Demon 170 to the soldier.
To ultimately remedy his error, Kuniskis struck a true vein of Dodge’s stockpile. This particular installment of vehicles was to be made available too late for the highest-ranking car dealerships. One Demon 170 out of that lot was selected to have the Jailbreak transformation to accurately reflect the Marine’s preference with its amazing F8 Green hue.
All in all, this automotive outlet has only served to corroborate the deteriorating opinion that most consumers have of such establishments. Nonetheless, Dodge and Kuniskis’ response has been absolutely commendable – their actions were certainly costly, but they managed to resolve matters as much as it was practicable.
