Experience Ferrari’s latest 12-cylinder supercar launch.

Premiering May 2nd.

Ferrari and V-12 motors are a classic combination. The latest car from Maranello is set to live up to this tradition. Ferrari released a pair of short teaser clips on its X profile (previously known as Twitter) giving a glimpse of an upcoming 12-cylinder supercar that will be unveiled on May 3.

The initial video is accompanied by the statement: “The V-12 is a timeless symphony that transcends replication.” Following a brief clip of the late Enzo Ferrari discussing the 12-cylinder engine, the sound of the car starting up and speeding away can be heard:

The subsequent video is even briefer. It offers quick views of the car’s exterior and emblem, along with a sneak peek of the 12-cylinder motor.

Known internally as the F167, it is understood that this upcoming Ferrari will feature a front-mounted, 12-cylinder engine, but could it also incorporate hybrid technology? Ferrari has achieved significant success with its hybrid vehicles in recent times, with 44 percent of Ferrari cars sold in 2023 being equipped with battery assistance.

Anticipated to be the follow-up to the 812 Superfast, it is hoped that this new model will continue to feature a naturally aspirated engine. The 812 was equipped with a 6.5-liter V-12 producing 815 horsepower. While the iconic V-12 engine is expected to remain, there are indications that this new Ferrari could have even greater horsepower output.

Fortunately, there is no need to wait long to discover the exact power output of this upcoming supercar. Ferrari has announced that they will unveil the car on Thursday, May 2 at 8:00 PM ET.
